Hemp seed oil comes, as the name suggests, from the seed of the hemp nut and is a very versatile base oil that has a wide range of polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially linoleic acid and a-linolenic acid, the two essential o-n for humans -fatty acids and g-linolenic acid, a fatty acid that is rather rare in edible fats and is remarkably high with a content of up to 4g/100 g.
