Product information for CristinenMoor HornEx! Callus Remover

The liquid CristinenMoor® callus remover is the first aid for heavily calloused soles and elbows. The cornifications are removed immediately and guaranteed in a few minutes.
To do this, the cotton wool is placed directly on the affected areas of the callus and soaked in the callus remover, approx. Leave on for 15-20 minutes, rinse off the treated skin thoroughly with lukewarm water, then use a blunt-edged object (e.g. a B back of a knife or wooden spatula) scrape off the softened areas of skin.
After thoroughly washing off with water with an aftercare (e.g. B Moor foot balm). In order to have lasting success in the fight against calluses, the affected areas can be treated with a product rich in urea (e.g. B HornEx! Callus Balsam by CristinenMoor) should be treated regularly (daily).

Nail bed treatment:
Cover fingernails or toenails with cotton wool, soak with callus remover and leave for approx. Leave on for 2 minutes, then use a manicure set to remove the softened areas of skin. Alternatively, a hard nail brush can also be used. After thorough washing with lukewarm water, apply an aftercare (fat cream).

Notes:
If the cornea is too smooth - roughen it beforehand!
Dry cornea is easier to remove. Therefore, do not bathe or wash your feet or hands beforehand.
Only use the cotton thinly! Only allow the callus remover to get onto the cotton wool and soak it so that the liquid does not run along uninvolved parts of the body
Observe the warnings on the bottle! Always wash the treated areas and hands thoroughly with clear water after the treatment. Do not allow to get on mucous membranes.
Useable when needed.

Product information internal callus balm

The callus balm from CristinenMoor® can be used as a nourishing foot balm, because a major problem with dry foot skin is that it can only bind less water. It depends on the concentration of natural moisturizing factors, of which urea is one of the most important. Urea is formed during the breakdown of some amino acids, especially arginine, in the cornification process of the cells. If the cornification is disturbed, there is a lack of these amino acids. As a result, the urea concentration decreases significantly and the natural moisturizing function is reduced. There is increased water loss through the skin of the feet and ultimately the skin dries out.

By using skin care products containing urea, such as the HornEx! Callus Balm with 25% urea, the lack of urea can be effectively compensated. The skin's ability to bind water increases, and the condition of the skin improves or normalises. Care products containing urea offer the customer an effective alternative to creams containing fat. They do not seal the foot like greasy ointments, but allow the skin to remain breathable and perspire thanks to the good absorption of the balm. The right combination of fat and moisture, for example with urea, leads to rapid success in the treatment of calluses and calluses. However, disease-related thickening of the calluses should be given to a dermatologist or podiatrist.

Due to the high 25% urea content in combination with olive oil, tea tree oil and original mountain pine oil, calluses are removed very reliably, gently and, above all, sustainably on feet, hands, elbows and knees. With the CristinenMoor callus and cracked balm you can achieve quick results without scraping and rasping.

Details on the most important ingredients:

CristinenMoor® HornEx! Callus Remover

potassium hydroxide,

Potassium hydroxide is a strongly alkaline/basic substance which, when dissolved in the medium of water, creates a solution whose pH value differs greatly from the skin pH value (weakly acidic ~6) and thus irritates the calloused skin , which is then gently removed.

When and why do you use the product? (Awaken everyday situation to need)

In the case of very thick calluses, it is an ideal pre-treatment for later use of the HornEx! Callus Balm from CristinenMoor®.
Thick calluses not only look unsightly, they can hurt and tear. Cracks are particularly unpleasant, so-called fissures or rhagades. Cracks are fissured, meaning they are wider on the surface than deep down. In extreme cases, not only the inanimate cornea is affected, but the cracks reach into the deeper layers of the skin. This can lead to significant pain.

In high concentrations (from 20%), urea has a so-called keratolytic effect, which means that bonds in the keratin of the cornified cells are broken down, the callus is loosened and removed by itself without scraping or rubbing.

Sickness-related corneal thickening should, however, be placed in the hands of a dermatologist or podiatrist.
